FAQ

A few things guests ask first.

Read all FAQs

What is the best way to contact Baffin Cabins for questions, details, or to book a trip?

Call or text USCG Captain David Lowry at (361) 360-1903 or email baffincabins@gmail.com.

What should I bring with me to the floating cabin?

Bring a case of fresh drinking water, ice to keep your catch fresh, sunscreen, a fishing license, gas for the generator, and fresh sleeping linens. Generator use varies, but 5 to 10 gallons of gas is typical for a 2-night stay.

What is the cancellation policy on cabin rentals?

Due to the nature of the business, there are no refunds on booked dates unless cancellation is weather related. If winds are sustained at 30 mph or greater, your trip can be rescheduled without additional fees.
